Tips

  • Make a teacher example so you know what the students will go through
  • Practice with the camera
  • Check audio levels: play your practice video in the same way you will share student videos
  • Teach students to project their voices and to orient their bodies to the camera
  • Keep the scripts simple: fewer scenes means less time editing
  • Focus research carefull: find a perfect resource for each topic (don’t waste time with students searching)
  • Plan for the recording to take longer than you expect: it is easier to fill extra time than to find extra time.
